Things have been a little quiet in the studio this year while I've been busy with day-job-life. I haven't even shared much about @makersdenstudio lately (yet another side gig), so I'll post some photos of my creations soon. Hit me up if you'd like me to make you something x.

I'm excited to share some news that is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

THE LUNAR CODEX / ARTISTS ON THE MOON [AOTM] announces that the 76 artists from the curated exhibit 'Shelter' are joining "The Nova Collection" time capsule! Needless to say, I'm over the moon to find out my oil painting 'Reminisce' is among those selected!

Done in collaboration with 33 Contemporary Gallery and the @PoetsArtists platform, 'Shelter' was an exhibit in direct response to the global pandemic, seeking works that evoked shelter, solace, safety.

No terrestrial catalogue exists of 'Shelter' - it exists exclusively as part of a lunar edition nickel time capsule headed for the Nova-C lander launching via SpaceX on January 2022.

'Reminisce' is one of two works I originally created for the Narrogin exhibition of [The Alternative Archive] in 2019; exploring migrant family histories, dementia, and the fragility of memories held both on paper and within our human minds. My other work, 'Recollections' is currently on display in [The Alternative Archive] survey exhibition at John Curtin Gallery.
